Martinwas diagnosed with T1D in 1954at the age of 5. Martin is a radio presenter on Radio Marsden; a registered charity run by volunteers, broadcasting to and supporting cancer patients at the Royal Marsden Hospitals in London. Martin has seen huge technological advances in diabetes and in this episode of guest speaker chats Martin shares some of his tech stories since he was diagnosed including: Syringes, MDIs, pumps and the various ways of checking his blood glucose levels. Martin is a passionate diabetes advocate on twitter and has his own website and blog. He is also the co-founder of a WhatsApp community group for fellow #t1warriors who are on Insulin pumps and and looping.
